Unit 16: Insects
Activity: Butterfly Lifecycle - See our caterpillars upon arrival, on days #2 & #4, days #6 & #7 , day #8, and day #10. On day #11, they became chrysalides and we moved them from the cup to the butterfly habitat. The first butterfly emerged on day #17. Three more appeared on day #18. They were released on day #20, with the exception of the one with the crumpled wing who can't fly.
